PlayStation 3 platforms of Sony's current market, there are plenty of seven years from its appearance in November of 2006.
"House is not the center of the universe's PlayStation, but the player," said Andrew House, chief executive of Sony Computer Entertainment. "We hope to change the way the PlayStation 4's playing."
System Architect PlayStation 4, Mark Cerny, said that Sony has started work on the new platform since the issuance of the PlayStation 3. According to him, the new platform has a completely refreshed appearance, as well as a large number of changes and additions, such as social features not found on other platforms.
